Bamboo Rod Screens were designed and developed by House of Bamboo to create fluid bamboo screens of selected bamboo rods, firmly bound internally with concealed galvanised wires. The wiring allows flexibility in design applications.

The screens are excellent as privacy or barrier screens, allowing a natural elegant look, and natural air-flow. The bamboo rod screens work well in exteriors such as pool surrounds, or as barrier screens for hot water-heaters, air conditioning units, garbage areas etc, courtyard screens or internal fences. They are also very useful as moveable screens for privacy on apartment balconies. The screens can be used in curves or as straight lengths. They also offer elegant screening options for interiors domestically as well as shop or restaurant fit outs. They can be used vertically or hung horizontally.

Bamboo rod screens are made from bamboo rods approximately 25mm thick and they are able to be transported in your vehicle in rolls. They are usually in the natural bamboo colour, except those marked with “D”, which shows they are of the dark colour. The screens are often stained to be in harmony with colour themes used in gardens and this can also give protection.
