The name RAKU comes from a Japanese style of pottery, created by hand and fired in open flames.

The result of this technique is unpredictable textures and patterns, with uniquely vibrant and striking colours. As a result, RAKU embraces texture, movement, and imperfection at every touchpoint. This is reflected in the interiors with an organic canopy of mismatched bamboo poles floating from the ceiling and modern slatted bamboo cladding covering the private dining booths. Both materials work as acoustic solutions in addition to bringing the brand to life. Natural bamboo poles create an elegant curved ceiling that assists with acoustics. Symphony Series Cello, our contemporary bamboo cladding, created feature walls for private dining booths.
